I am dedicated to working with committed, goal-oriented individuals who want a more athletic and better-conditioned dog that excels in various canine sports and working conditions. I help owners feel confident that they can design and implement a conditioning program that maximizes their dogs’ strengths and improve their weaknesses while enhancing overall performance. I understand the unique challenges and physical risks that confront our high drive canine athletes while training for both sport and work. I have been involved with dogs my entire life and am an advocate for treating dogs for the true athletes that they are. I have worked with dogs in various venues, ranging from obedience training to search and rescue. I have also worked with top trainers from the United States and Europe, including Ivan Balabanov, Michael Ellis, Forrest Micke, Francois Massart, Fernando Dosta, Joaquim Dovat, Tom Androkowsky, Cecilie Koste, and Morten Egtvedt.

Having a Ph.D. in education and over 25 years experience as an educator, I help dog owners easily acquire the knowledge and skills that are needed to feel confident that they are doing everything possible to have a happier, healthier, and better-conditioned dog that excels in both work and sport. Currently, I train and compete in one of the most physically demanding canine sports called French Ring. I regularly travel throughout the United States with my two Belgian Malinois and Doberman for ongoing training, competitions, and to educate others about the tremendous benefits of canine massage and conditioning.
